GeoServer
What is it? Geobytes’ GeoServer is a localized content server that provides the functionality to customize web content to the location
of the viewer in real time. The customization may be as
simple as the insertion of a dynamic re-direct to an appropriate
page or powerful enough to dynamically insert and/or remove
entire sections of the page based on the viewer's location.
GeoSelect can even be used to preselect a user's country as shown here.
To use it you simply just add HTML like tags to your existing web pages.
Here is a example of using GeoSelect to add a localised welcome message:

By default the <geoselect> tag will use the IP address of the person
viewing the page, but this can be overridden to allow GeoSelect to use an IP
Address that appears on the page, perhaps contained in a sales report, or site
activity log. You can also have more than one <geoselect> tag per
page, so that a page full of IP Address data can quickly be transformed into usable information.
You do this by inserting the IP Address to
use into the geoselect tag like this <geoselect ip="38.107.191.95">
What's more, because it is implemented as a filter it works on both static html pages
and non-static pages such as- ASP, PERL, PHP generated pages alike, and as you can see from the example above, it is incredibly easy to use.
No backend database
required:
GeoSelect does not require any backend database and operates
independently of any third party database management
systems. There is no need to install or configure an SQL
database to use GeoSelect.

either a Microsoft NT or Windows2000
